I admit it. There are a lot of other preppers and emergency instructors out there.
And, have you noticed, a lot of them look similar to me? Middle-aged, bald white guys with beards who like to play with guns and knives.
Here's where I'm different:
I have real world experience. It's not just an expensive hobby for me. The skills I teach are skills that I've used and taught for real on deployments, during disasters, and when people were shooting at me.
I'm a dad. I have 5 kids of my own to protect and prepare for emergencies. I've been in harrowing situations with them and seen them perform. I've actually been injured myself, and they had to treat me. *Don't worry, it was just a busted skull and an arterial bleed. You'd be proud of how my 14yo did!
I'm not trying to reach preppers and military guys. I'm trying to reach normal dads with no experience who just want to keep their families safe. Because of who I'm trying to reach, I teach differently. We start with the basics and go from there.
I boil it down to what you NEED to know without overwhelming you. There's just too much info out there. I teach a method I developed called Rapid Skill Acquisition, in which I reduce an overwhelming amount of info down to the necessary basics.
